		<description><![CDATA[There&#039;s also a program (Handbrake: http://handbrake.fr/) that pulls directly from DVD to really high-quality h.264 files. These then need to be turned into DV (or, better yet, Apple&#039;s ProRes) files for editing in FCP or Avid, and for that I usually go with Compressor. This assumes access to Final Cut Studio 2, but I&#039;ve gotten some great results for the Cincinnati Film Fringe Festival (all-DVD entries) using this method.]]></description>
